Data Maestro

My professional motto is a quote from Douglas Adams. “To give real service you must add something which cannot be bought or measured with money, and that is sincerity and integrity.”

I do what I do because I love taking seemingly useless bits of data and transforming it into information that can then be used to help clients make informed decisions about their businesses.

My alma mater is NC State University.

My favorite invention of all time is the Label Maker.

Life would be a lot simpler if people were kinder to one another.

If I were an animal, I would be a unicorn.

My hidden talent is well hidden.

I love my wonderful family.

I can’t stand loudly ticking clocks.

I spend my free time watching hockey – Go Pens!

A random tidbit is that the pound sign # is called an ‘octotroph’.

The soundtrack of my life is Help!

You’ll never catch me at the circus – too many clowns.

Three things you would be surprised to know about me are:

  • Almost everything I own is some shade of blue
  • I have never watched Titanic
  • I have the box-set with all of the music from the Monkees AND all of their TV shows.

Sometimes people say I look like a librarian.

My first order of business as a super hero would be to create my secret identity.

The best place on earth is 221B Baker St., London.

My nerdiest quality is that I get the International Space Station alerts and drag everyone from the whole block out to watch it go overhead when it comes.

If I had a safety pin, gum and a straw, I could make a mess.
